Rachel and Erez: A “Return to the Age of Elegance” on the French Riviera
In a world where wedding dreams come true, some stories stand out as extraordinary. The wedding of Rachel and Erez Aminov is one such story – a timeless celebration of love and elegance set against the breathtaking backdrop of the French Riviera.
The Hôtel du Cap-Eden Roc, a legendary venue beloved by icons like F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, and Elizabeth Taylor, witnessed three days of pure magic. The festivities began with a tennis tournament, followed by a pool party, and culminated in an enchanting dinner inside a glasshouse.
But what truly set Rachel and Erez's wedding apart was the bride's attention to detail. Rachel's pursuit of perfection led her to request a cake that matched the exact shade of her wedding dress, a long-sleeved baby pink gown from Chanel's haute couture autumn/winter '21/'22 collection. The result? Bastian Blanc Tailleur, the cake designer, visited Chanel's haute couture atelier to create a cake that incorporated the dress's buttons and embroidered veil flowers – a truly exquisite masterpiece.
However, Rachel's wedding attire didn't stop at just one dress. In total, she graced the occasion with five distinct looks, each a testament to the timeless elegance she envisioned for her special day. From a white Chanel haute couture spring/summer '22 dress for the after party to a striking Chanel haute couture spring/summer '92-inspired gown reimagined with pearls and crystals, Rachel's wardrobe choices were nothing short of stunning.
One particularly special gown was a strapless silk ball gown, adorned with a structured bow and camellia at the neckline. It was a collaborative creation with Chanel, and it served as Rachel's 'something white' for her first dance, featuring magical blue, glittering buttons in the back.
For the farewell dinner, Rachel donned a white version of Christy Turlington's iconic Chanel haute couture spring/summer '92 gown, with chains transformed into pearls – an absolute showstopper.
Wedding planner Sarah Haywood described the event as a "return to elegance." The ceremony aisle, artfully designed by Roni Studio, elongated towards the ocean, creating a captivating visual spectacle.
Throughout the festivities, Rachel remained the embodiment of elegance, attending events in Chanel attire, each carefully selected to match the occasion's ambiance. Her dedication to detail extended to every aspect of the wedding, from stationery to gifting, ensuring a truly bespoke experience for her guests.
