A bride’s smile (Wedding in Tuscany)
Working as a wedding photographer introduces you to brides on their happiest day: you learn to read expressions, understand what they are feeling when they look at you through the camera. It is often a privilege to be able to stand by the spouses in those moments, to live with them the most intense emotions: it is like sharing their joy from a privileged point of observation.
I love working as a wedding photographer in Italy and abroad and, in my career, I have had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people: Juliana, however, is one in a million! Her smile is contagious: when she laughs in that so spontaneous way, wide and sometimes irreverent, she lights up a light all around her. I love how her smile contrasts with the chiaroscuro we found in Borgo Pignano, a luxurious eighteenth-century villa on the hills of Volterra, in Tuscany.
Here everything it is powerful: the colors, the spaces, the gardens, the view on the hills. The marriage of Juliana and Ryan was an incredible day in which the drama of lights and shadows recomposed as in a great master’s painting.
It was exciting to see Juliana's brother celebrate the wedding on the steps of a medieval chapel, tucked away in the Tuscan hillside. Around them the excitement and joy of friends and families that exploded, then, at a wild party.
Thanks to the excellent work of the Tuscania Events and Fluida Design staff, Juliana and Ryan's wedding in the Tuscan hills was truly spectacular. And thanks, as always, to Floricolor's friends who know how to enclose my work in their fantastic albums.
It always a pleasure working like this!
