FLORENCE
A sparkling wedding on the shore of the Arno
September, Florence: the weather makes a fuss but, in the end, it gives us a chiaroscuro that leaves you breathless. Anastassia and Benjamin’s luxury wedding was truly a magical day (Ana & Ben, the Royal family as it was written in neon light during the party!). It was one of those moments in which each piece seems to go in its place and what remains is a perfect composition.
Ana's Russian nature met Ben's British spirit and the mix gave birth to a sparkling event, in which the notes of the violins were intertwined with the explosions of the fireworks. The enchanted garden of Villa Palmieri - a patrician villa of the fourteenth century, already chosen by Givency for its fashion show in early summer - was the enchanting setting that gave the wedding a plus
Ana and Ben have chosen to celebrate their love in Florence, digging into the truest soul: not by chance, the evening before the wedding, the reception was held at the Società Canottieri, on the banks of the Arno and a step away from the Uffizi.
The beauty of Florence is reflected in the remaining tones: the pungent colors, the powerful contrast between the lights and the shadows, the magical notes that bounce in the air and rise up to the hills, bringing out the white of Ana's dress and of the enchanting layout of the garden.
The details, well finished by the staff of Savvy Events, and the incredible floral intuitions of Vincenzo D’Ascanio did the rest, catapulting us into a bubble of timeless magic.
The ceremony seemed like it was about to be poured on with rain. One bolt of thunder made itself seen and heard in the distance… perfect for drama effect! Then, the skies cleared and eventually the sun came out. Their wedding truly was a DREAM. What an unforgettable day filled with so much love and awesome people!
A few days after the wedding, Ana wrote me that working with me was magical ... It has been the same for me! Thanks guys: another great night on the hills of Florence! And now you're #officiallyhiggs!
