From Los Angeles to Villa Gamberaia, chasing the fil rouge of a sophisticated glamour: this is how we could sum up the marriage of Denise and Jonathan, a luxurious Asian wedding on the hills that overlook Florence. A week before the summer made its formal entry into the calendar, in Florence the air was already hot, the blinding light ready to match the gold that had dominated this wedding.
The day of Denise and Jonathan was coming, and I was ready to put my hands on the machines to capture the air of joy and celebration with my experience as a wedding photographer. The requests of the spouses were my compass. They both had a precise idea of what they wanted from that marriage: impossible to explain in words, better to show it through the images.
As far as I'm concerned, I couldn't help to notice the climate of Villa Gamberaia's impeccable and evocative gardens: a light and simple climate, despite the luxurious layout designed by Valentina and Elena from VB Events to leave nothing to chance. None of the typical marriages stress, but rather, many smiles, complicity, deep bonds of friendship: all that - even if it may seem trivial - makes a true, participated, shared marriage.
The spectacular nature of the location chosen for the ceremony and the attention to every detail - from the bride's three dress changes, to the Florence Musical Ensemble string quartet, to the floral decorations chosen by Jardin Divers - have made this wedding truly splendid.
But at the center of everything there was Denise. I admit it, Denise is one of my beauty models: Asian and elegant, a timeless woman who with her smile seems to change the seasons. Jonathan, with his spontaneity, completed a gold framed painting.
The atmosphere that was breathed in this luxurious wedding in Florence can be seen through the images. Yes, there are group photos: I love group photos - as I have already told in another post - and I love them because I would like to have photos with the people closest to me.
With Denise and Jonathan it was easy. Enjoy it!
